What makeup to use for getting a pale face (for halloween) for not great skin?

I got some normal halloween makeup “grease paint” is disgusting and since I have to dress up more than once and my skin isn’t great to start off with (it’s not totally horrible but I have mild acne).
So far I’m considering manic panic virgin pressed powder ( http://www.vampfangs.com/productdet… )
but I’d have to order it today for it to get here in time.
Also I have a friend that does face painting – she says they’re water based, does anyone know how they are on the skin?
(some people have recommended baby powder but that doesn’t stay on at all)
I’m trying to get the undead look, the pressed powder seems like the best bet, but it’s kind of expensive. so can I get away with the facepaints? or anything else you can think of?

Plain flour works pretty well. Used it to dress up as Riff Raff to go the the Rocky Horror Show.

white shimmery eye shadow or a very light purple shimmery eye shadow. It actually works really well at looking like you are dead and your body has lost oxygen. Just takes a while to spread it around your face evenly. Is worth it though!

I got vampire paint last year tube of white red and black about 2 quid and it was great stuff out of one of the pound shops just remember to wash off and use a plenty of moisturiser cream to take off the excess’s and it will help your skin have a great time apply some before the face paint
