Look neither of you should attend this social event. It is a bad news event waiting to go into a deeper level of drama. Really do not attend this event.

Go! It will show her you and him are together. Stronger than before. Confront her. This way you will feel better and not so ucky anymore.

I’d go and hold my head up high -you did nothing wrong why should you miss out on the occasion. Just ignor her and if forced to speak keep it civil (just civil).

Absolutely you should go. Splurge and get your hair and makeup done by a professional. Wait til you get to the event and she is looking at you, then lean over and whisper something naughty in your husband’s ear that you will do to him later that night. He’ll spend the whole evening think it about you, not her. Don’t confront her. You’ve got more class. If she actually has the balls to approach you, look at her like she’s a bug.

Your question was should you go to this work event. The answer yes you should. You are his woman not her. Just smile you will get through it. PS do not confront her at the event you can find a better time to do that at a latter time

As a guy, I’ll give you my 2 cents – its hard to believe he’s not still attracted to the circumstances. Guys are attracted to a female’s dirty talk like a moth to a flame. He may bend over backwards to keep things stable with you, but he’ll do whatever he can to have it both ways, especially since his temptation is right in front of him every day.

You should go. Because if you don’t go then that other female that your husband had an affair with is going to think that she got the best of you and that to her is going to be the reason that you did not come to the event. So go, you never know it might actually be worth your time. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Don’t stop living your life. You and your husband got though this and You did nothing wrong. She will be the one who will feel uncomfortable and she should.
Be beautiful and hold your head high.
Show strength in yourself and in your marriage. Have a great time, mingle, laugh and dance.

If I was you; I would go and wear the best dress you have, beautiful jewelry and wonderful make-up. That happens to me two weeks ago, my boyfriend & my sister-in-law were talking (nothing serious) but flirting around, I dont talk to her but him I would give a lesson any time soon. Anyways, you better go and show her that even though she slept w/ him you have him and his $$$$ and he would give you anything you want to make it up. Plus not only that I can imagine many people @ his office noticed (as you did) so you better mark your territory and let them now that you wont let anybody to take over your HUSBAND. Also, tell him that he must be w/ you during the event and intruduce you to everybody. Take advantage of your husband for a while, and make sure he learns the lesson. Dont put your face down because the most affected here were you, and you have the right to fight for what is yours. She would see that you are a strong woman and go say HI to her and tell her “you have him for a night, I have him until I deside I dont want him anymore”. Think this way, she must be trash if he threw her away after he used her, you have more value and have to show that. Good luck and have a drink for me!!!!!!

Personally, I’d boot him to the curb. That being said, yes, you should go. You need to stake out your territory and let her know that he’s yours, not hers. Not in an all out battle but hold your head high at his side. Go looking like a million bucks.

I also recommend making eye contact with her, and through that eye contact showing her that you aren’t afraid of her and the strength of who you are.

This woman intruded on your life. Don’t start a battle but let her know that YOU are the one in control.

Absolutely not – don’t go there! You don’t really want to see this other woman anyway.

I find it amusing that you “are better looking then her” but got a **** job and face lift. Yeah, sure, right…..obviously you needed work done in order to even compete.

If my husband cheated, I would divorce him. You’re enabling him to keep right on doing it and that’s just plain dumb. Wise up.

Hell yes you should go with him. Show her you are the one he’s with even if they did have an affair, he CHOSE you not her. She was only second best and now she’ll know she’s not even that anymore
