What chemical is commonly used to treat ****** blemishes and acne?

Jen asked:

I went on to olayforyou.com to pick out a ****** cleaner best for me. However it only lets you choose one skin problem. Such as blemishes, discloration, acne, and wrinkles. I have acne, blemishes, and some discloration. And my skin is very sensitive. If I put the wrong thing on my face it will turn as red as a fire truck, and dry out completely.

So what chemical do most ****** cleansers have that treats all three problems.

Income Tax
Federal Tax
State Income Tax

You actually need RetinA for the discolorations of old pimples. Try to see a dermatologist. I have very sensitive skin as well. I am currently taking an antibiotic, BenzaClin and RetinA.

Benzine peroxide, that is what is in proactive, and the clinique acne solution (what I use). Just watch out for your towels and sheets because they will get bleached out… It is peroxide!

    Salicic Acid… anywhere between 1 to 2%

Soy based products are less irritating but effective in cleaning and not compounding bacteria. There is no one ingredient (that I know of) that is going to treat the acne, discoloration, wrinkles, etc.

There are lines that can custom-blend products for you, but then budget becomes an issue. Proactive will address the acne, but not wrinkles and discoloration. If you have hyper-sensitive skin, commercial acne products are going to be too harsh. Go natural (The Body Shop, Arbonne RE9, or a custom blended regimin through Market America).

Good luck, I feel your frustration!

I have the same issues with my skin since my liver disease. Someone suggested Coconut Oil and after two weeks I saw dramatic improvement in my overall appearance; hair nails, skin, and weight control ! I highly recommend it.

Can’t wait to get this! I can feel a pretend stroke coming so I can stay home from Uni and mess around playing this.
