How do you sooth a dry patch/rash on your face?

?Emily? asked:

I have a large patch on my chin/cheek that feels really dry and scaley. It doesnt itch, and isnt red, but it is really bumpy. I hadn’t put any kind of product on it that would’ve caused it either. It seems to be getting bigger, also.

I’ve had it for about a week. It went from the size of a quarter to the size of an orange. It’s freaking me out.

Pure Vaseline may help; definitely see a doctor if it doesn’t go away in a few days.

Naaah…. that’s nothing! Just put some cortisone cream on it and it will go away in a few days. then keep it moisturized with whatever you want or have (vaseline works well). But DEFINITIVELY cortisone cream.
