If he has had it for 2 weeks I would say yes. Has he tried any kind of creams like cortisone cream or anything like that? It might be poison oak or ivy, or it could be something else, better to get it checked out by a Dr.

I **** to say it, but he could have ring worm. Is it round? he needs to see a Dr. and find out what it is. The Dr. can give him the right medication to treat it.

I would say so. It could be skin irritation, but it could be other things too, so he should get it checked out.
