At first it was good for having a clean face, but if you want your acne gone I swear by Acne Free 24/7 severe acne wash, I dont have acne, but during my period I break out, and this foamy wash cleaned everything!

No, the scrub isn’t really aimed for the use of cleaning up blemishes or acne.
But you should try this, it works wonders on acne! haha i had clear skin prety soon after:

    Good Luck!

I use the medicated version and I have had decent luck with this product. It does a great job removing dead skin. I would not recommend using it everyday since it is abrasive but a couple times a week does help to refresh my skin. A great product to use in addition to another face wash.

Scrubs are bad for acne. They irritate your skin, and irritation is a big cause of acne.

I have personally tried both the scrub and the cleanser, and both did nothing for my skin but dry it out.

No no no no no. You DO NOT want to use a St. Ives product on your face, it is WAY too harsh and abrasive for ****** skin. It can cause scarring instead of clearing up the skin. Please keep in mind as well that a face wash is not all you need for good skin, you need a system. If you have acne and you have not been able to find something that worked, here are two really good options.

    1. Cetaphil, this is a very gentle cleanser and it can be found at you local drugstore. You should wash with this twice a day. At night use the Cetaphil, warm water and a wash cloth as the wash cloth will serve as a natural exfoliator and sluff off all the dead skin cells. After you have washed everything off, pat dry you face and use a toner to ensure you have removed all excess makeup or dirt, I reccoment either Witch Hazel or Clean and Clear (the moisturizing one). Then when your face starts to clear you can add a little bit of oil free moisturizer after you tone.

    2. Acne Free, you can get this brand at Target and it is wonderful, it comes kind of like ProActive will all the products you will need, just follow their directions and it will work wonders!

    Good Luck!
