JBCBRO1 asked:
My girlfriend has a fever for 5 weeks, a kidney infection, double pneumonia, and now a rash on her face. It’s hot, red, and has a lot of bumps on her right cheek. She’s broken out in heat rashes and wondering if this is the same thing. Please could use any help

It could just be from the fever but it also could be an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. If she’s taking a penicillin derivative get her to the doctor. And no, she doesn’t have to have always been allergic to it. You can take it over and over and be fine and one day develop the allergy and it’s very dangerous.
A rash can be a symptom of certain viruses too so it may just be one more symptom of something that is being treated but at the very least she needs to phone her doctor right away if she’s taking prescriptions for her illness.

Could be lupus
she needs to see a rheumatologist asap.
the rash you describe could be a “butterfly rash” that is a hallmark of lupus.
