How long would it take an allergic reaction (full body and face rash) to show after ingesting an allergin?

Bugsy asked:

Does anyone know? I have a 6 mth old daughter and she comes up in a very florid and itchy rash and we’re trying to eliminate things.

Many thanks
Of course she’s seeing a doctor! We’ve been advised by peds to start eliminating things from her diet so that we can find out what is causing this rash. We know to look out for A Shock and when to get her treated if she does show any sort of reaction.

with in minutes to an hour.
it may be with in a few seconds in case of anaphylactic shock..which is fatal and life threatening and need medical assistance to be treated.

better to consult a physician near by.

i think your concern shouldn’t be on how long will allergens make your body react to it but to actually know what is causing your daughter’s rash. Because if the spread of the rash is faster she might experience an anaphylactic shock. so the sooner you consult her rashes to her pediatrician the better.
