My shitzu is 9 and all over his body he is flaky with dry skin. He has always had dry skin, but as he getts older his skin getts worse. He has a great diet, I wash him with a special oatmeal shampoo 2/3 times a month, and I give him treats a couple times a day. Nothing seems to help. When I do a search to find a a cure the resultes are expensive pills. Without having to take him to a vet, what can I do to cure or help his dry skin?

I have this dry patch of skin and redness on the skin surrounding my nose. It’s not actually on my nose, it’s in the area to the left and to the right. I’ve tried all kinds of moisturizers and face lotion. I try to cover it with make up, this covers the redness, but it looks even worse if I get make up in the dry skin area
It’s ugly! HELP!
This is not some kind of rash, it’s been there for years. It looks worse in the winter then in the summer.

I have a problem with my hands drying too much during the winter. They get red like I’m getting a rash, the skin on my knuckles starts to crack, sometimes the skin on my palm starts to itch if it gets too dry, and when I put lotion on it burns.

I used coco butter lotion and an unscented Johnson and Johnson lotion. Is there another type of lotion I can try out?

My skin is very dry and I **** wearing lotion and putting it on. Is there a body wash that will moisturize our skin enough so that I don’t have to wear lotion. I don’t like oily feeling left behind so none of those.

I’m looking for a new foundation, the hardest thing for me is that I have super, super dry skin. That’s pretty much my only issue, not too much redness or discoloration, just dry patches that flake. I would like a foundation that doesn’t look too cakey, and I’m not really a fan of mineral foundation. I tried bare minerals a couple of years ago and that just seemed to settle in the lines around my eyes, making me look much older than I am! Of course, cheapies are always good!

At Sephora they have a buy 4 get one free skin care thing going on and I think I am eligible for a free product so if it is at Sephora that is a plus. At the moment I use Bliss Fabulous foaming ****** wash and Bliss Best of Skintentions moisturizer.

My hands and skin are not dry and i moisturize daily, but the skin right around my finger nails at the end of my fingers is always dry and cracked. I’ve tried every type of lotion, but it doesn’t go away… Any tips?
