My skin tends to be very dry and it only gets worse during the winter months. Are there any good (affordable) skin products that provide very-dry skin with necessary relief? I use a lotion that contains AHAs for my KP so I can understand how it may dry up my skin even more.

I would also appreciate any advice for home remedies or any supplements that I can take to better my skin. By the way, I do keep hydrated so I know that my dry skin is not a result of inadequate water intake.

I’ve got really dry, lined skin on the back of my hands. I know it’s definately not eczema but it’s been like that all the way through winter. I apply skin creams at least twice daily which work temporarily, until I wash my hands. Even creams for eczema and E45 aren’t working. I’ve tried putting the cream on and then wearing plastic gloves, but it still doesn’t work. There’s no reason for them to be so bad, I don’t spend a lot of time outdoors or spend a lot of time with them in water. Has anybody got any tips for remedies I could try out at home?

Iv also tried rubbing baby oil on my skin when i get out of the shower then dryin off but that still has not helped.

I have special shampoo for dry skin but I do not know how well it works considering that everytime he gets a bath it drys out his skin even more. Okay… My dog eats Nutro Max Beef and Rice dog food. It is all natural and is a high quality food. His mother has skin problems and that is why I want to nip this in the **** before it becomes a huge problem.
