What is a good drug store foundation to use to cover blemishes almost completely and evenly?

Caiteee asked:

I have a lot of scars on my face from past bad acne, and I’m working on trying to get the scars themselves to go away. But in the meantime, I need to find a good foundation. I’ve only tried one foundation, but it doesn’t cover it fully and easily. I’ve tried a lot of concealers and none of them have really worked. I’m just looking for something I can buy at a drugstore to use to cover ****** blemishes. Any input is appreciated(:

Are ****** blemishes related to body ailments?

kate K asked:

If so, please let me know where I can learn more.

A coworker told me certain areas of the face are related to parts of the body. So, if you get blemishes on your chin, it’s hormones. If you get blemishes on your cheeks, it’s your digestive system, etc.

I’d like to know if this is true.

Thanks!

Getting married in late August and was wondering what kind of ****** cleansing rountine I should do?

PennyLane asked:

Only got a couple of months to go! Right now I’m using nutragena (sp?) daily ****** cleaner with microbeads, and then I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub, and then I follow up with a toner, I don’t exactly know what a toner is for but someone suggested that I use this routine, so I did without any questions, as in the past all I have done is just wash my hair. I’m not a girly girl more like a tomboy (grew up with boys) So far my face has been less dry than normal, but not exactly dry skin free and smooth. Normally if and when I put make up on it usually looks as if I have dry patches and the make up is darker in those patches than the rest of my face. I want to be blemish free on my big day as well. Any and all answers are greatly appreciated and Thank you in advance! : )

When switching face wash/moisturizer, is it normal to break out initially?

Pinky asked:

I do not have acne, but do get the occasional pimple every now and then. To prevent breakouts I usually use a face wash designed to treat blemishes.
I noticed that I still seemed to have some very small, bumps (not really pimples or blackheads… not sure what to call them) on my chin.
My face has also been a tiny bit dry lately from the cold weather, so I bought a new moisturizer that also is an “Anti-acne” formula.
Everytime I start using a new ****** product, though, whether it be anti-acne or not, I tend to break out even more.
I’m not sure if this is normal initially and will go away in a few days once my face gets “used” to the product; I usually get so annoyed that I give up rather than sticking it out to find out.
I’ve noticed this happening with several different face scrubs and moisturizer brands over the past year… so it’s not just one brand in particular.
Any ideas?

Help! Strange spots on the face?

stephanie_dee24 asked:

Hi!

I am 18 years old, and I a few spots (not really acne) on my face (i tend to pick the few spots that I get which makes my face a total mess). I have greasy skin and very open pores, not nice.

I have these little lumps under my skin all over my face, not traditional “spots” or “blemishes”. If I don’t pick them then they just stay there, they don’t get bigger or smaller and no matter what I do they won’t go away. I wouldn’t mind, but they are quite noticeable, esp over my forehead, my skin is bumpy and uneven, even with makeup on.

When I squeeze them, normal “spot pus” doesn’t come out, its usually a long string of white, hard pus that looks like toothpaste (sorry for the description guys!) They are nasty, I have tried EVERYTHING to get rid of them, but they are obviously not normal spots. I’ve been to the GP but he didn’t really listen.

Does anyone have anything similar, or know what they could be and how to get rid of them? Thank you so much in advance!
Just to let you know, I have a set cleansing and toning regieme, its not as if I don’t look after my skin! I am just at my wits end!
Another note, they are not whiteheads. They aren’t any colour, like I said, just lumps. But you can see the lumps under the skin… its really strange
