My mother has lupus. She has permanent discolorations on her face from the “butterfly rash” from lupus. She is very beautiful and I would love to find her a cream or lotion that would reduce the appearance of the blemishes on her face or make them disappear. Has anyone used anything of this sort with success? Her self-esteem has suffered greatly from this, and I want to do anything I can to help her. If you have used anything with results, please tell me the name and where it is available. All help is appreciated.

It might not be any link with this tragic event, yet after that my husband was once sent to Athens, Greece and he couldn’t take the flight. He came back home, with a blemish face, with an expression of fear … and he no loger flew since then (always taken the bus – 20 hours Bucharest-Athens). BUT NOW HE HAS TO FLY TO DUBLIN (approx. 4 hours). He says he is not afraid. But I dont know about that…

The rest of my face is pretty much clear, but my forehead is absolutely atrocious – blemishes galore. I’m really self concious about it, and it’s getting me down so does anyone have some suggestions? I have combination skin, rather than oily so I’m avoiding tea tree at the moment unless someone thinks it wouldn’t hurt to try.

Its New Years Eve Tommorow and im covered in Red marks all over my face, most of them are just blemishes and not spots anymore. But i fear they will ruin my fun tommorow .. is there any fast and effective ways to reduce the redness, visabilityor even remove the spot completly!! i would really like some good feedback!! I started accutane 6 weeks ago, and it has proved to be quite a tease. Initially, I cleared right up only to break-out about a week later. Since then, I have periods of 3-5 days of a clear face followed by 4-6 days of several blemishes. I never want to rejoice when my face clears up again, because I know it will be short-lived. Will I ever be completely clear? I just need a little reassurance. Thanks!
