How do I get rid of the the dry skin on my face?
Roni2011 asked:
I have normally oily skin. But right around my cheek bones there are dry patches. This is really starting to become an issue because when I put on my makeup it looks like my skin is peeling because my skin is so dry around my cheek bones. Since my skin is oily I really can’t use moisteriser I am told it will make my skin even more oily. Is this true? If so what product can I use to make my skin softer around my cheek bones without making my skin more oily?
What are these red dry skin patches on my sons cheecks?
Kimberly asked:
My son is 1 year 8 months old.
He is very healthy and active.
He has a small/medium patch on each side of his cheecks that are circluar, red, and hardish dry skin. It looks as if he is blushing, however, it is dry skin.
Does anyone know what this could be? The cold? Hormones? Dry skin.
Any remedies?
What is the best moisturizing cream for dry skin?
ch_ris_l asked:
I have a dry skin problem that surfaces every couple of days now. I was wondering, what is the best moisturizing cream?
I’ve tried:
- Dove
- Olay
- Vaselene
- Aveeno
Anyways, most of them seem relatively equal in effectiveness – they are reasonably effective in the short term, but the dry skin keeps on coming every couple of days.
They all claim to be loaded with Vitamin E, some with B1, B2, and A.
But which cream is the best one for chronic dry skin? Is it one I haven’t tried yet, or are they all relatively equal?
What can I do to get rid of the dry skin patches on my face?
skattered0077 asked:
I recently moved to Georgia from a tropical climate and I have dry skin patches on my face and I do not know what else I can do to get rid of them…
I wash my face twice a day with a mild, but deep cleanser, use an oil-free SPF moisturizer during the day and a slightly heavier face lotion at night. I exfoliate once a week with a very fine face scrub and also use a Dead Sea ****** peel about every 10 days to prevent breakouts (yes, it works).
But this last week I have noticed some dry, flaky skin on my face and I cant seem to get rid of it. My skin doesnt seem dry in these patches, but the flaky skin is obvious.
Does any one have any ideas about how I might get rid of this? Im at a loss as I have never lived in a winter climate before and never had a problem with dry skin.
