Skin tags are annoying pieces of skin suspended by a long stalk.?They can be different shapes, sizes, and colors. Some can be light and some can be dark. They can be wrinkled, smooth, flesh colored, or can be the same color as the surrounding skin.

Growths can appear any place on your skin.? The places they can occur are on the neck, eyelids, perinea area, and the breast.

These appendages are not developed in the uterus. They develop less often on men than women. Children are less likely to develop them than adults, and people of a normal weight are less likely to develop them than individuals that are overweight and that have skin that rubs together.

Some of the individual that commonly get these appendages are people with diabetes, acromegaly, or Chrohns’ disease.

So why does an individual remove these growths? Often the reason varies as much as the individuals that have them. A skin tag is often removed because they are torn and bleeding, or have hooked on something. Another reason may be that the growth is ugly and ruins the contour of the neck.

The various procedures involved in skin tag removal are laser, a procedure that freezes them off, surgical excursion and a procedure that uses electricity to burn them off… The three individuals who commonly treat skin tags are general practice physicians, dermatologists, and opthamalogists.

Skin tags do not need to be sent to a lab unless they are unusual in which case a doctor may question whether it is a skin tag or not.

Doctors do not know what disease causes skin tags.

I have irritated skin on my cheeks,nose,and eyelids from a cosmetic or acne cream i was using, i’ve been taking this antihistamine i had, which made my skin a bit better since starting it yesterday, but i ran out and can’t get more without a prescription, so i drank some benadryl, will this help my face rash from the cosmetics as well?
