I went swimming on Wednesday and i put on sunscreen on my face the next day i had this rash on my whole entire cheek and it was red my parents say its sunburn but its the sunscreen so what can i do about it

My school hosted special olympics today and my friend went a little overboard with the face paint. My face has purple polkadots on it now that washing with soap and water are not helping dull. Please help, i can’t rub it too hard though because i have sunburn but any advice will help..
